MISSION STATEMENT
To promote, advocate, and support the Akwa Ibom community in Minnesota, to contribute positively to the development of our community and cultural heritage; enhance the family structure, enable our members to excel personally, professionally and economically.
This association is a non-profit organization whose purpose and main objectives shall be:
- To promote unity, understanding and solidarity amongst the citizens of Akwa Ibom community in Minnesota and everywhere.
- To empower our community economically, educationally, culturally, and socially.
- To act as a liaison between the people of Akwa Ibom community in Minnesota , our governments and other institutions in Nigeria if called upon.
- To promote and encourage dedication, commitment, support, service, leadership and honor among members.
- To use our resources to effect positive changes in Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria.
- To serve as a resource for information and or network for our community.
- To educate others, ourselves, and our children on the history, values, and cultural heritage of Akwa Ibom State.
